Honoring Strong Women

In honor of their 70th anniversary, Glamour magazine honored strong women throughout the years. I think my favorite is Camilla Belle as Mary Tyler Moore. I wonder if Joanna took part in this?

Alexis Bledel as Rosie the Riviter

Emma Roberts as Audrey Hepburn

Camilla Belle as Mary Tyler Moore( I am lusting after the Kate Spade coat)

Lindsey Lohan as Madonna

Elisha Cubert as Brandi Chastain (as a side note, I was at that World Cup Game at the Rose Bowl. AMAZING doesn't even begin to describe it.)

Emma Stone as Carrie Bradshaw

I am actually shocked how Madonna-esque the Lindsay Lohan picture is. She does it pretty well!

  22. Loved this issue. Awesome photographs. I like how they took a Vanity Fair approach to recreating classics. Alexis Bledel is adorable and Camilla Belle's outfit is to die for.

  23. why WOULDNT they pick a trashy attention whore like Lindsay to play the queen of trashy attention whores? o_O

anyway, Emma Stone as a fictional character she looks nothing like is... very random. Emma Roberts was a bad choice for someone like Audrey (who someone like Camilla Belle suits much much much much much muchmuch more, looks, attitude AND style wise) but the others were great. I think there's more somewhere too.

On a side note, without telling us, how exactly were we supposed to know that Camilla is Mary? I've never seen her shows but I did some research on Mary's style and I've never seen her wear anything like that or do that pose. kinda random.
