Weekend Project!

This weekend we are doing some MAJOR painting in my condo! Though I've lived there for about a year and a half, projects have been pretty slow, since in that time I switched jobs, my parents moved from NY back to California, and my dads top priority was finishing his home( I can't understand why!) So this weekend, we are FINALLY painting my living room( well, its a big multi-purpose room, so living/dining/family room)

Molly Simms' Gorgeous NY apt color was my inspiration:

And we're using Dunn Edwards Baby Seal:

I can't wait to share pictures! On another note, I am SERIOUSLY considering this Z Gallerie linear strand chandelier for over my kitchen table..I like that it is glam and a little modern...any thoughts??

  1. That is one of my favorite lights. Totally glamorous! Good luck painting and have fun. Oh, and I adore Zac Efron. I figure he 21 so it could be worse. ha.

  2. LOVE the color and the lights. I get that "chandelier" feel when I first look at them, but then the modernness of them is there because they are individual lights. Darling! CANNOT WAIT to see pictures!

I love that chandelier...you should totally go for it. I have had it bookmarked for my nook for quite some time, but haven't gotten around to fixing up that area yet!

  9. I really loved that chandelier - it was so expensive at Design within Reach. I don't know how much of a DIY-er you are, but I bookmarked this and thought it would be fun to experiment with: http://ikeahacker.blogspot.com/2008/04/glam-up-your-glimt.html
