I was going to do this post in a few weeks, since we just did a quote post, but this week is turning into a crazy busy one at work for both of us, and I had no time to finish up the research for the posts in the works!

I think recently, Greys hasn't been the show it once was, it is like they got a new set of writers after the strike, but as gloomy as meredith is, she has some good quotes. And Patrick Dempsey is soo handsome. Like SOOO HANDSOME. uh. I can't even get over it.

I have always been a huge fan of Trina Turk's dresses( and most recently, tights she has collaborated with HUE) and am SUPER jealous my brother and his wife are jetting off to Palm Springs and can visit the Residential Store. It looks glorious!

A little Exciting News!

I've been so MIA lately, just wanted to pop in and say that I landed a new job starting Tuesday working in Walnut Creek, right next to where Danielle and I went to school! It is all very exciting, and it's going to be great to get back into the working world( though I did enjoy the little break!)

*Update: I found out that my first week will be helping around with office tasks (filing, copying, updating databases, etc.), after that I start working with financial advisers, scheduling meetings/appointments, and put together a marketing plan.

So, next weekend I am braving the great outdoors for a camping trip with some other couples. Now, I'm a little high maintence..I'll admit it. I've never been camping, I don't go camping. I am horrified I am going to be attacked by a bear. This also is a new relationship-thing( we haven't had the chat yet, so I don't really know what to call it)

My number one concern right now is outfits..what do I wear to still look fashionable, yet not out of touch with the fact I am sleeping outside. Naturally, I turned to Polyvore to see some sets that others have made..Here are a few I liked:

A little wisdom from Brad Pitt

Over the weekend I raided my moms netflix pile, and she had Babel, starring Cate Blanchet and Brad Pitt. The movie was long, sad, and I felt defeated after watching it. However, Brad and Cate have amazing chemistry. It got me thinking to Benjamin Button, which was one of my FAVORITE movies of the Oscar season( and I am a big F. Scott groupie) I have the following quote up on my mirror at home, reminding me that it is never to late to start over and be who you want.

Our third installment of the blogger interview is Nicole Marie of La Mia Vita. We instantly fell in love with her blog when we found it.. Nicole is the girl we would've wanted to be friends with and hang around in college.

What inspired you to start blogging?

My roommate Kelly and I used to share a room. We would sit across from each other sending links to cute, adorable, amazing stuff. She started a blog and I slowly followed (even though I thought I would never keep it up).

I like to read a wide range of blogs from the super popular ones to the small personal ones. Whether it’s a fashion, family, personal, wedding, life, animal etc blog, I can never pass one up with great pictures!

If you had to choose just one of these things for the rest of your life, what would it be:

-Song you could listen to: right now, “Come on Get Higher” by Matt Nathanson

-Movie to watch: A Lot Like Love

-Ensemble: boots, tights, sweater (literally have worn this outfit almost everyday this winter)

If you could trade places with anyone for a day, who would it be? Why?

Hmmm. This one is hard. Audrey Hepburn back in the day. I could learn a few things about sophistication, style and class from her.

Your graduating college in the Spring. Congrats! It seems like just yesterday for us. What are your plans?

That is the big question! My plan is to get my teaching credentials to teach elementary school. Everyone says how rewarding teaching is but you really don’t understand until you’ve been there, seen it and felt that satisfaction.

My back up plans are:

a) opening a business

b) moving to Europe

c) shamelessly living off my parents for a few more years !

And finally, the most important question, Socal or Norcal?

Haha. Though I’ve moved around a lot in my life, SoCal will always be home. Nothing beats the amazing beaches, incredible weather and of course that is where my family is. But I have really grown to love NorCal for its diversity. Especially the city. Every day I am so grateful to live in such an amazing,
