H&M July/August Wish List

I know summer JUST started, but

I'm pretty impressed with these items H&M will have in stores later this summer, showing fall will be filled with camel colors and equestrian chic

I'm kinda dying over all of these pieces, and h&m tends to be pretty reasonable, but I never seem to be able to get stuff to work when I go there. One of those always better in theory places.

But for these pieces, I'm going to def stop by my local store

Fourth Of July Party Pastry

This Sunday, I will be attending a fourth of july bbq and am taking charge of bringing dessert. I have been waiting for an excuse to make these Bakerella cake balls in red velvet, and we're going to decorate the outside in white chocolate instead

Something Blue

I am absolutely obsessed with this Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, which would be a divine wedding dress-even though you can't see the top in this photo. But I would believe it is equally gorgeous.

I am one for following tradition at weddings, and the blue lining of this dress would more than satisfy your something blue!

In the Bag: Good Nite Irene

I am so excited to have the FABULOUS katie of Good Nite Irene as the June in the Bag. Katie's blog is hilarious, she doesn't hold back on her thoughts, and to make you just feel stellar about yourself, has an amazing body due to this. I'm hoping to one day arrange a little play date with her since she is a so cal girl as well

here it goes:

although the size of my bag is big enough to carry all of angelina's brood i carry a rather paltry peck.

i like to have a large tote so that i can use it when i go to the market (every day) and i can just put my purchases in here and stay green!

this bag is from my friend sally bartz's halsea line (halsea.com). it's the quintessential beach bag. the inside is pocket's galore (6 large ones), so i never lose anything.

• i always have my favorite tom ford aviators.
• my hobo wallet. this was hands down the best gift i've ever received. i've never had a better wallet in my life. this cookie carries EVERYTHING!!! i could put a golden retriever in this baby!
• smashbox lipgloss in afterglow. a makeup artist used this on me on a silly infomercial once. i looked like a monkey hawking the product, but my lips were charlie's angels dewy the whole day.
• my kindle. i fought, kicked and screamed against liking this modern technology. but then my hunky hubby made me realize how many trees i'd be saving so i converted. now i'm a kindle=-holic.
• ipods. yes you counted three. i'm always losing ipods. since i'm teaching anywhere from 2 to sometimes 4 or (gulp) 5 spin/pilates classes a day i must have my ipod.
• wet wipes. i go from studio to gym to clients homes.....sanitizing is a way of life.
• cell phone. i keep it in my lime green "k" case so i can always find it.
• perfume. i'm a sucker for perfume. i always have just a little bit on. i wear "if" by apothia in the summer.
• keys to polly the prius. i love her to death but she's so darn quiet i forget to turn her off. i can't tell you how many times i come back to the parking lot and that damn car is still running. so much for my attempt to be environmental.

The thing about the world cup is that it is exponentially bigger than your average game because patriotism-good, old fashioned I love my country patriotism-free of politics, magnifies every emotion, so that a moment like this seems far bigger than it actually is

You can bet all eyes will be on our boys as we take on Ghana in the knockout round Saturday.

Taking a break

Hi loves. I know Danielle and I took a little break a few weeks ago, but I seem to have been in some what of a funk as of late, and I think I need to extend my break a little longer. At the moment I don't know how long it will last, but I have been feeling a little unmotivated, and I need to figure out some things I have going on. It has nothing to do with anything friendship-wise between Danielle and I, I just need some time for myself to reflect and have some "me" time...

Summer and bikini season are a few days away, and I'll be honest, I could've done a little better to prepare. A few weekends in a row of wedding cake will do that to you.

After seeing Twilight star Ashley Greene on the cover of Women's Health, I will be making my morning workouts a little tougher..omg her bod is truly amazing!

Now if I can just get my local LA Fitness to get these in for weights

Ikea PS Maskros Light Fixture

I have been toying with the idea of this ikea light for over my dining room table for a few months now, and after seeing it in Lonny last week I think I am sold

Now my issue with Ikea is we all know how easy IKEA products are to put together, and sometimes they dont look as planned

Happy Friday dolls..World Cup is in full swing..I will be at the bar at 1030 tomorrow am to watch USA and England face off! I played soccer for 12 years and have been to both the mens and womens world cup games when they were at the Rose Bowl, so this tournament is one of my favs(sadly, the other 2 USA first round games will be at some ungodly hour!)

The New Love of my Life:GEORGE

One of the reasons I needed a little break was to get ready for the Adoption of George, my new four year old rescue Boston. I am in love.

This has been a 3 month process trying to get him, and I finally was able to take him home Sunday morning.
