These are My People

I am off to Stagecoach with some college friends! Here's to a weekend of beer and whiskey, making new friends, and good ol' country music!! I won't be back until after cinco de mayo--I have to literally go from Indio to our warehouse in Pennsylvania for a week.

Can't wait to share all my stories-I'm not sure how much tweeting/instagramming I will be doing o preserve my phone battery!

But in the words of headliner Blake Shelton

If I have one, I'll have thirteen. No, there ain't no in-betwee. Cuz the more I drink, the more I drink, the more I drink.

Pretty Printed Peplum

I am SERIOUSLY obsessed with this floral peplum dress from asos. At 90.90, it is affordable but I am tempted to wait to see if it drops in price a bit, since I don't exactly have anywhere to wear it.

Spring Flowers

One of my favorite things about spring is flowers everywhere. Every time I go to the grocery store I pick up three bundles of daffodils for 5.00 and they last forever. It is such a chic and cheap way to spruce up little corners of my apartment or desk.

Regrets for My Behavior

graphic from Necessary & Proper

These Regrets cards from Mrs. John L. Strong are amazing. Not going to lie, in my younger days there were definitely times I should've sent a card apologizing for some behavior....

The NYC Apartment of a 20 Year Old

Yes, you read that correctly, the following images are from 20 year old student and blogger Alexandra Heitz's NYC apartment. My mom always said jealousy isnt becoming on a lady, but I am green with envy. The colors, the art, and pillows. Oh and not to mention my dream Valentino Bag.

Happy Friday the 13th Weekend

picture from The Pursuit of Style, one of my absolute favs

Happy weekend dolls! I think this weekend will be filled with some much needed spring cleaning, a trip to target, and getting the majority of my stuff organized for stagecoach in the next few weeks. A final few items need to be purchased and I want to try on all outfit options.

One of my amazing coworkers Chante writes this fabulous blog and can do every sort of DIY project I mention at work, so I also want to get some ideas of things we are going to tackle in the next few months. I buy the supplies, and then I pay her in wine and puppy kisses. Seems like a perfect arrangement to me!

Time to get an iPad I guess

These adorable monogram zebra iPad cases are just too cute to pass up, even though I don't have an iPad.

Totally remind me of the Scalamandre prancing zebras, no??

and May The Odds be Ever in Your Favor

Finally saw The Hunger Games over the weekend and absolutely loved it. I think those who never read the book will love it, as will those die hards who obsessed over the series.

Next on the agenda is to Finally watch Girl with The Dragon Tattoo, which the Easter bunny left for me in my basket.

Easter Weekend!

Happy Easter Weekend! I may dip some eggs in glitter this weekend just to be a little festive! I also YET to have a cadbury cream egg or peep.....that is a crime if you ask me!

Broke Girls Guide to Abbot Kinney

Venice is not one of those neighborhoods I've really ventured to in LA. I still have the visions of it when I was younger and kinda sketchy people on the board walk. Everyone tells me it has changed, I just haven't quite made it out there.

The Glitter Guide teamed up with Broke Girls Guide to tour Abbot Kinney, Venice's most famous street, and I will be making my way out there shortly, that is for sure.

LA ladies..thoughts on Venice? Favorite spots? Buddies to take it on with me???
