Happy Weekend!!

Happy weekend loves! I have another busy one with my sister in laws birthday tonight, my parents anniversary, a date on Saturday, and my oldest friend's baby shower on Sunday! Not to mention a workout or two, laundry, and lots of puppy snuggles!

Finally Found my Bar Cart!

I picked up my 75.00 Craigslist find yesterday(pictures to come next week!) and I am so glad I was patient and waited for something I love and a price that didn't kill me. I cannot wait to style it similar to the carts above with pretty glasses and essentials and have friends over for a cocktail!

I recently picked up this fabulous neon skirt from BCBG for 70.00 as seen on Krystal. Now I just need to figure out how to style it.....I'm thinking a plain,white oxford shirt. Thoughts and suggestions??

So this weekend was awesome

So, by now I'm sure you all have seen highlights and know we have a little super bowl repeat on our hands. Much respect to the ninere, their fans, and the undercover cops. Oh did i mention these may have been the best seats ever?!?! Such an amazing experience, though I don't know if I have the stomach to go to a playoff game ever again!

Now it's 430 and were in a cab to the airport so I can make it to work

A Little Wisdom from Frank Sinatra

I may sound old-fashioned, but I want to think all women should be treated like I want my wife, daughters, and granddaughters to be treated. I notice today that good manners—like standing up when a woman enters the room, helping a woman with her coat, letting her enter an elevator first, taking her arm to cross the street—are sometimes considered unnecessary or a throwback. These are habits I could never break, nor would I want to. I realize today a lot more women are taking care of themselves than in the past, but no woman is offended by politeness.

Crock Pot Cooking

So, do I need a crockpot. Everyone keeps on swearing it is the best thing to happen to cooking, and my mom has one that she's never used. What do you ladies think? I have some receipes pinned from pinterest, but wondering if I will really use it or just have it use up storage

Color Bug

I saw this on twitter, it is a product called color bug, and gives you the fabulous dip dye tips in fun color such as pink, purple, and peach. I sent an email to Kelly who sells it in her salon, and the pink arrived and I am excited to try it out! If you want it I really recommend going through her, because it is super difficult to find online.

I think it will be fun for a casual night out but add some glam. I really wanted peach a la Lauren Conrad, but don't think it will show on brown hair

Sous Style

Over the weekend I discovered the fabulous blog Sous Style, by Pippa Lord an editor a Elle.; a food and entertaining blog that is one part the Coveteur, One part into the gloss, and one part awesome photography. It looks into the kitchen and homes of fabulous fashionistas, and almost doesn't make me feel bad they eat fried egg sandwhiches.

Their Manifesto is :


We want to make our houses into home; but we're not necessarily married with two kids and a mortgage.
